Bees Being Trialed to Spread BOTRY-Zen WP in Horticultural Crops.

With the reduction of Bee numbers through out the world, pollination is becoming a big problem in the Horticulture Industry. Growing Bumble Bees and Honey Bees for pollination has become an industry.

Now a new innovation has become available to crop growers, and that is Bee Vectoring Technology. Available in different parts of the world, Bee Vectoring Technology is now becoming more available in New Zealand.

Botry-Zen (2010) Ltd is partnering with Zonda to trial out the product BOTRY-Zen WP. Initially Blueberries will be targeted.

BOTRY-Zen has been proven to be at the forefront of biological control of such diseases as Botrytis and Sclerotinia. So with pollination becoming a problem in the Horticulture Industry, Bee Vectoring will soon become an important tool in the growers tool box. This technology not only provides a dual purpose for crops (glass house and field) but it reduces water requirements.
