In our RESEARCH to provide products from SEED TO HARVEST, we have now included in our retail range two products to fill much needed gaps in our biological range. One is for SEED TREATMENT and the other is a BIO-FERTILISER. These provide the ingredients for a plants start in the early critical stages of growth. SEA-Zen and BIO-Zen partner up to get things started in a natural way.

Single Bottle Products
These single bottles are for those already familiar with how biologicals work, and have a medium to large size home garden. Each of these products control diseases through different modes of action, meaning they control the disease through different ways. These include, competition and inhibitors. These products were invented by Plant & Food New Zealand and are currently used in the commercial horticultural and wine industry.
Added to our range are two new products:
SEA-Zen & BIO-Zen
The combination of microorganisms and seaweed improve the delivery of nutrients to the seed and the development of the root system of the plant.
Once the treated seed is planted and some moisture added, then microorganisms activate and start their duty of spreading and protecting the seed. The seed germinates and produces roots to anchor the seed in the soil. The microorganisms attach to the roots and start feeding the seed nutrients. So poorly maintained soils, or growers wanting to bring their soils back to life, which are most likely devoid of beneficial microorganisms and nutrients, the addition of our seed treatment and bio-fertiliser thus improves the necessary environment for plant growth.
The seaweed is added to our formulation to keep the number of microorganisms viable. Without food and moisture, the microorganisms will reduce to their natural balance in nature. So it is important that where there are soils with a reduced level of nutrients and microorganisms it has a product that has a high level of viable spores and an increased level of nutrients.

SEA-Zen Mix 40 g per 5 litres (quarter of bottle) Has a 2 year shelf life Seed Treatment.
BIO-Zen Mix 80 g per 10 litres (half of bottle) Has a 2 year shelf life Used as a fertiliser to boost plant strength and increase soil health.
BOTRY-Zen WP Mix 40 g per 5 litres (quarter of bottle) Has a 2 year shelf life Apply when shoots appear above soil or at early flowering
(For protection against Botrytis & Monilinia).
MIDI-Zen Mix 150 ml per 5 litres (half a bottle) Has a 2 year shelf life Apply when black specks appear on leaves (For protection against Botrytis & Powdery Mildew).
ARMOUR-Zen Mix 75 mls per 5 litres (quarter of a bottle) Has a 2 year shelf life Apply when green/yellow specks appear on leaves (For protection against Botrytis & Downey Mildew).
special mixing instructions
SEA-Zen. Add a half scoop for small packets of seeds, and a larger scoop for larger packets of seeds. Shake the packet, then plant out the seeds.
BIO-Zen. This product is just like flour. So with the measured amount of product in your spray container, add a small amount of water, mix the particles into a slurry. When all the particles are thoroughly
wet, then add the rest of the water. Shake often to keep particles in suspension. The use a watering can with a rose head is preferred but a spray bottle is ok. Sprinkle sparingly onto the soil around plants.

wet, then add the rest of the water. Shake often to keep particles in suspension.
MIDI-Zen . Shake the bottle well before pouring the measured amount of product into your spray bottle.
ARMOUR-Zen. Wear gloves when adding the measured amount of product into your spray bottle. Wash any spillage with water straight away to reduce the chance of staining.
